Education

Smiths Falls is home to four post secondary facilities including: St. Lawrence College of Applied Arts and Technology; Willis College of Business, Health and Technology; Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology; and Kingston Learning Centre. The community is located within one hour of Queens University in Kingston and Carleton University and University of Ottawa in Ottawa.

Smiths Falls has endorsed an agreement between Willis College of Business, Health and Technology and Xiangfan City, Hubei Province, China.  The agreement will see up to 500 international students enrolled in a two-year diploma program at both the Smiths Falls and Ottawa Campuses.
